Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress who is famous for her the roles she played in Hum Aapke Hai Koun. In the late 80s the actress began her acting career and became well-known for the character Tezaab which she played with veteran actor Anil Kapooor. Then, she starred alongside Aamir in Dil. A middle-class family was raised in Mumbai she started learning dancing at a young age. At the age of 16, she began acting and suffered for several years due to the fact that her films at first were unsuccessful. She finally found success, and she became one of the most well-known actresses in the Indian film industry. Following her wedding was over, she took a few months off from acting until she returned. She was a key character in Gulaab Gang, a film that explores the struggles of women in India. Dixit received fifteen Filmfare Awards nominations, of which she took home eight. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award awarded to civilians in India is bestowed to her. She has also been recognized for her efforts in the field of social work.
