Christopher Robert Evans, born on June 13, 1981 is an American actress. His career began with the roles in TV shows, like Opposite Sex, which aired in 2000. After appearances in a variety of teens' films, including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he gained attention for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics character the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans was also featured in films of comics as well as graphic novel TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). Alongside his character in the role of Captain America and Steve Rogers, Evans gained recognition through his appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) as well as Captain America: Civil War. The Marvel universe, the performance as Steve Rogers / Captain America earned him the title of most highly paid actor in the world.
