Rosalia

Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia (Spanish to mean "Rosalia") is an Spanish singer and songwriter from Spain. She is a Flamenco and Pop artist. Since she was a teenager Rosalia has explored the fringes of traditional and pop music. Flamenco guitarist Pepe habichuela characterized her voice as delicate and sharp, but still featuring the sharpness of older singers. El Mal Querer, her follow-up album to Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical and commercial hit. It topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums Chart and received an Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami was a collaboration with many artists including Cory Henry, James Blake and others. The album was released in 2022 because of an appearance on Saturday Night Live appearance by the famous singer Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia is the very first Spanish singer to perform solo on the program. Motomami was the only woman in the history of music to be a recipient of the Latin Album of the Year two times, in addition to three Latin Grammy Awards.
