Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. She was raised listening to traditional and old boleros, as well as the traditional songs of romantics and ranchero. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as opera and dramatic performances. When she was 16 years old, she began singing and learning the piano with her mom. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started to provide her with more intense singing instruction. Music lessons continued throughout the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. She sang in Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young scholar and professional. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. She is currently performing classic Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. Her love and passion for art, music, and performing keeps her involved with many local organizations as a performer and teacher. Ana is also a past participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful for being able to share her love and love for old-fashioned Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to impart a desire, especially among younger generations in order to keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
